How to use this tool
- Select one PDF of up to 100 MB and 300 pages. Password-protected or encrypted PDFs cannot be opened by this tool.
- Choose pages from the page cards or enter a range such as 1-3,5. Select JPG or PNG, then choose 96, 150 or 300 DPI. The default is 150 DPI.
- For JPG, choose 70%, 85% or 95% quality; 85% is the default and the background is always white. PNG can use a white or transparent background.
- Start the conversion and download the result before leaving the page. One page downloads directly as an image, while two or more pages download together in a ZIP file.

Supported files and limits
- The tool accepts one PDF at a time. The source file can be up to 100 MB and contain up to 300 pages. Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are unsupported, even when you know the password.
- Selected pages are exported once in their original source order. Overlapping ranges and duplicate page numbers do not create duplicate images, and the tool does not reorder pages.
- Each rendered page is limited to 16,384 pixels on either side and 24 megapixels in total. Each image must remain within 60 MB, and a multi-page ZIP must remain within 250 MB. Reduce the DPI, JPG quality or number of selected pages if a result exceeds these limits.
- JPG uses lossy compression and may introduce visible artefacts around small text or sharp lines. Its background is always white. PNG has no quality control and can use a white or transparent background, but its files are often larger.
- Processing takes place locally in the browser. Pages are rendered sequentially to reduce peak memory use, but large pages, high DPI or many selected pages can still be slow or fail, particularly on mobile devices with limited available memory.
- The result is a static raster image of each complete page, not an extraction of the original images embedded in the PDF. Selectable text, links, form controls, animations, attachments, document metadata and digital signatures are not retained. Complex PDF features may render differently from the original PDF viewer.

How can I choose the pages to convert?
Select individual page cards or enter a range such as 1-3,5. Overlapping ranges and repeated page numbers are counted once, and the images are always exported in the PDF’s original page order.
Should I use JPG or PNG?
JPG is usually smaller and suits photographs or pages where some compression is acceptable. It always uses a white background. PNG often keeps text, diagrams and sharp edges clearer, and it can use a white or transparent background, but the files can be much larger.
How do DPI and JPG quality affect the result?
Choose 96, 150 or 300 DPI; 150 DPI is the default. A higher DPI creates more pixels but also needs more processing time, memory and storage. JPG quality can be 70%, 85% or 95%, with 85% as the default. Quality changes compression after rendering and cannot restore detail missing from the source.
What filenames and download limits are used?
One selected page downloads as technine-pdf-page-NNN.jpg or technine-pdf-page-NNN.png, using its zero-padded source page number. Two or more pages download as technine-pdf-images.zip with ordered page-numbered entries. Each image can be up to 60 MB, and the ZIP can be up to 250 MB.
Can the tool open a password-protected PDF or extract its original images?
No. Encrypted and password-protected PDFs are unsupported. The tool also renders complete pages rather than extracting the original image files stored inside a PDF.
