How to use this tool

- Wait while the tool opens each PDF and validates its page count. Password-protected or encrypted PDFs cannot be processed.
- Drag the files into the required order. Every page in a file stays together and follows that file’s existing page order.
- Merge the files, check the total page count and download the generated PDF before leaving the page.

- Put a main document and its supporting PDFs into the required reading order, then download them as one file. Check the recipient’s file-size and document requirements before submission.
- Combine reports from several teams
- Arrange separate PDF reports by section or reporting period and join them into one document for review or archiving.
- Join batches of scanned pages
- Merge PDF batches produced by different scanners or sessions. If the source pages are images, use Images to PDF first, then combine the resulting PDFs here.
Supported files and limits
- The tool accepts PDF files only. Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are not supported, even when you know the password.
- You can add up to 15 files, with a limit of 50 MB per file and 150 MB for the batch. The combined documents can contain no more than 500 pages, and the generated PDF cannot exceed 150 MB.
- Processing takes place locally in the browser. The tool does not upload or store the selected files, but the browser still needs enough memory to read every source PDF and build the result. A batch within the stated limits may fail on a device with limited memory.
- You can reorder complete files only. The tool keeps the existing page order within each source PDF and does not provide controls to remove, rotate or rearrange individual pages.
- The merger uses a page-only safety policy. It removes PDF annotations before copying, so links, comments, form controls and embedded page media are omitted. Filled form values may disappear unless they were flattened into the page artwork first. Bookmarks or outlines, attachments, scripts and document-level metadata are not carried into the new file.
- Digital signatures are not preserved as a valid signature of the merged document. Merging a signed PDF creates a new file and invalidates the original signature context; verify or retain the original signed file separately.
Common questions
How do I control the page order?
Drag the PDF files into the required order before merging. The result includes all pages from the first file, followed by all pages from the next file. Individual pages cannot be reordered in this tool.
What are the file and page limits?
You can merge up to 15 PDFs. Each file can be up to 50 MB, all selected files together can be up to 150 MB, and they can contain up to 500 pages in total. The output must also remain within 150 MB.
Will the merged PDF look the same as the originals?
The tool copies static page artwork but removes page annotations for safety. Links, comments, form controls and embedded page media are therefore omitted, and unflattened form values may disappear. Bookmarks, attachments, scripts and document metadata are not carried into the new PDF.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
No. Encrypted and password-protected PDFs are unsupported. Remove the protection with an authorised application before using this tool, or use an unprotected copy supplied by the document owner.
What happens to digital signatures?
The merged download is a newly generated PDF, so an original digital signature does not validate the new document. Keep the signed source file if its signature or verification record matters.
