Give a field worker a clear next step during a site visit, including when connectivity is uncertain. The concept connects the day’s schedule to an inspection and its report review.
The day’s schedule groups visits with the information needed to identify the next site task.
The inspection screen breaks work into checklist items and includes a place for photographic evidence.
A review screen gathers the inspection details and shows a saved-on-device notice as part of the proposed offline flow.
Named checklist items give the worker reference points after an interruption. The design should distinguish completed, outstanding and blocked items in text.
A saved-on-device message is different from a submitted report. Explicit wording avoids suggesting that the office has received a record before synchronisation is confirmed.

Use sans-serif labels with clear numerals for visit times and checklist counts. Keep instructions short; longer findings belong in their own reading area.
Stack tasks in a single column with well-separated touch targets. Put each instruction near its control and keep report status outside the editable notes.

Inspection incomplete

It should say whether the record is saved locally, waiting to send or confirmed as received. A generic success tick cannot explain those differences. Retry rules and conflict handling still need to be designed with the synchronisation system.
